WI level III sex offender moving to 16th St. in Superior

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- 52–year–old William Ramirez was convicted of First–Degree Sexual Assault in 1988. Since then he has been in the Wisconsin prison system. He will be released on May 6th and remain under supervision until 2027.

Ramirez was sentenced for repeated sexual assaults against a female who was unknown to him. The victim was threatened with a knife, and the assault occurred over a period of 2 and a half hours. Ramirez acted with another person against the victim in the assault.

Ramirez will be moving into a home on the 16–hundred block of N 16th Street in Superior. A community meeting concerning his release will be held on at 6 p.m. on May 1, 2014 at the Superior Government Building in room 270.
