Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The fundraiser will have contests, vendors, and artwork to help raise money for the Animal Allies Humane Society shelter.

Shelter Animals put their paws to work creating the pieces of art with the help of Artists from UDAC's Art Junction program.

Pieces include sculptures and paintings with dog and cat paw prints embellishing the art.

Breanna Foro, Arts Coordinator at UDAC, says that one of the goals of the event is to get these animals adopted.

"We really want to encourage the adoption process so that people know that the shelter has a lot of animals that need adoption. So we create artwork so that we can help provide the proceeds to the animal shelter. So we are giving back in that way," said Foro.

The proceeds will help to support their animal programs which include adoptions, humane education, and spay and neuter programs.
