Washoe County, Nevada (NNCNOW.com) --- A missing Cloquet man, wanted for questioning in an attempted murder investigation, has been arrested in Nevada.
John Bemis the-third was reported missing two days after his ex-wife, Marie Majerle, was charged with attempted homicide for shooting her estranged husband.
Bemis was spotted in April in California, where he'd been living at a state park.
He was eventually picked up on a child endangerment and is in custody in Nevada.
Cloquet Police say they believe an extradition hearing was held Thursday in Nevada, but details are unknown at this time.
Bemis is not currently consider a suspect in the Majerle case.
