Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- A water main break in the Piedmont Heights area has affected the water supply to a large number of residents.
City crews have determined that water will likely not be restored by Wednesday morning.
City officials are asking that residents in the affected Piedmont neighborhood needing water can go their local fire hall to get water for use at their homes while the break is being repaired.
Fire hall locations include the fire house on Cottnewood and Maple Grove or the Superior Street fire house by 27th Avenue West.
Residents should bring their own containers to fill with water.
City crews will be working into the night to locate and repair the break.
The areas affected are Adirondack Street, Allegheny Street, Appalachian Avenue, Catskill Street, Gearhart Street, Hillcrest Drive, Hutchinson Road, lower Ozark Street, Piedmont Avenue, Selkirk Avenue, Springvale Road, and Tyrol Street.
