Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Firefighters tackled a fierce garage fire in West Duluth Wednesday night.

The fire broke out on the 3700 block of Grand Avenue, next to Wade Stadium, just before 7 p.m.

Firefighters say the garage, along with the car inside, are a complete loss.A nearby garage and power lines also suffered damage due to the intense heat.

A passerby jumped into action to warn the homeowner of the smoke and flames.
