Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Residents in the West End of Duluth will be without water for the next several hours due to the failure of a water valve.

Officials with the city say the valve broke around eleven Thursday morning in the West End Lincoln School area.

The areas without water include two blocks on Wellington Street, one block on Ensign Street and one block on Lyman Street. The area affected includes the new Lincoln Park Middle School.

City crews are currently repairing the break and anticipate it will take from four to six hours to complete the work.
