Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Maybe it's the race itself from a musher or spectator's standpoint, or maybe it's the cutest puppy contest.
Or maybe it's because its 30 year legacy embodies the definition of being a true Northlander.
Either way, come Sunday, the 30th Annual John Beargrease sled race is on.
Jason Rice, who heads the Beargrease operations, joined us in the KBJR 6 & Range 11 Today show to talk more on volunteer efforts, and the events leading up to Sunday's race.
He was joined by Father of the Alaskan Iditarod sled dog race Dan Seavey, who shared his insight on weather conditions for the race.
