Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A wild chase over the Blatnik Bridge Thursday morning ended in the arrest of a suspected drug dealer.

Authorities had probable cause to arrest the 23-year-old Datione Warren, also known as "Raccs", for heroin sales, as well as a search warrant to search him and his vehicle.

When police attempted to arrest Warren for heroin sales, they say he drove off headed toward Duluth. Police say he drove around marked and unmarked squads through the lawn and out on to Hammond Avenue.

At the base of the Blatnik Bridge, police say the suspect threw cash out the window

The suspect, who currently lives in the Twin Ports and Chicago, was eventually taken into custody on I-35 and Midway Road.

Inside the car, investigators found 20 grams of heroin packaged for sale and other evidence of drug sales.

The suspect was arrested for fleeing police in Minnesota, and faces an omnibus hearing on Wednesday, Aug. 20.

He'll answer to drug charges in Douglas County.
