Amery, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- It is 33-year-old Ethan Gustafson's fourth offense for operating while intoxicated, and authorities say he had a minor child in the vehicle.

Gustafson was also charged with operating after revocation in the third offense, and felony bail.

At around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper received a report of an intoxicated man driving a red pick-up truck with a child in the vehicle leaving the Amery Hospital.

The trooper located the vehicle in a parking lot at 855 Keller Avenue South in Polk County near the hospital, and conducted a field sobriety test and a blood test resulting in Gustafson's arrest.

Wisconsin State Patrol says the child has since been in the custody of a responsible adult. Gustafson is being held in the Polk County Jail pending an initial appearance.
