Wisconsin unemployment rate drops to lowest since 2008

Madison, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) says Wisconsin's unemployment rate dropped to 6.1% at the start of the year.

This is down from 6.3% in December 2013 and 6.9% in January 2013. Unemployment in Wisconsin is now at the lowest it's been since 2008, and is below the national rate of 6.6%. Unemployment has decreased in all metro areas.
