Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A woman trying to dodge a runner along Chester Creek ended up falling 20 feet into a ravine Tuesday night.
Duluth Firefighters deployed their rope rescue system to get the woman to safety.
It happened near East ninth street just before 7 p.m.
Firefighters say the rescue went smoothly thanks to regular training.
"It could be a life or death situation. So we need to be on our game and make sure we know what we're doing and we can do it fast. Seconds count," said Captain Andy Golz with the Duluth Fire Department.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
