Rice Lake Township, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- Snowmobilers were braving the cold on Saturday for the fourth annual Yeti Tour.

The tour is a 140 mile snowmobile riding event. The event was founded by Nathan and Kelly Alvar who created the ride in memory of their sons Isaiah and Mason.
They died shortly after being born prematurely and all proceeds from the ride go to the March of Dimes.

Despite the cold weather, the Alvars say they are on track to raise $15,000 to $20,000.

"We have been waiting and waiting for snow for the last couple winters, but we'll take the cold, at least we got snow this year. Snowmoiblers are tough they will dress for it and we'll make due," said Nathan Alvar, co-founder of the event.

The March of Dimes supports research to help ensure moms have healthy babies.

The event was held at the Sunset Bar and Grill. A snowmobile was also raffled off.
