Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - More than 3,000 Superior Light Water & Power customers left in the dark Wednesday had the power back on by 5 p.m.
1,000 customer lost their power around 2:30 p.m.
Another 2,000 customers lost their power around 4:15 p.m.
Most were commercial customers.
As of 5:15 p.m., UWS and Superior High School were the only locations without power. Crews were expected to have the power restored to the schools by 6 p.m.
Minnesota Power officials point to weather for the cause of the outages.
Meanwhile, Minnesota Power also reported they have all but six customers back in service in Sturgeon Lake, Willow River area.
Up to 900 customers were in the dark at one point.
Officials say say a tree had fallen on primary power lines.
