Poplar, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery this morning at the National Bank of Commerce in Poplar, Wisconsin.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, the bank robbery happened just after 10 this morning.
Authorities say a white man, wearing a greenish-blue colored plaid jacket, gray sweatpants and a black mask walked into the bank brandishing a hand gun.
The man demanded money from the teller, and keys to a vehicle.
Authorities say the teller handed over keys to her personal vehicle, which is described as a blue Kia Sedona Minivan with Wisconsin license plate number 752 D-B-K.
The van has a Wyoming sticker on the rear bumper and damage to the driver side front door.
The suspect left from the rear door of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and took the employee's vehicle.
Police searched the area and have stepped up patrols in the county, but so far the suspect remains at large.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has provided pictures from the surveillance camera at the bank, which you can see above.
"We're hoping that somebody knows from these pictures that description of the jacket or sweatpants and the person that owns them," says Douglas County Sheriff Tom Dalbec. "It's important for us to get the public aware of it and hopefully help in solving it."
Douglas County Sheriff Tom Dalbec says no shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery.
