Autopsies reveal two bodies found in separate suitcases in WI are female

Geneva, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Over the weekend autopsies were conducted by the Waukesha County Medical Examiner's Office on two bodies discovered on N. Como Rd in the Town of Geneva.

Police say both bodies were identified as female, one of which has been determined to be an adult, the other also appears to be an adult, but verification of age is pending further test results.

Last Thursday a Wisconsin highway worker was cutting grass in when he stumbled upon two suitcases in the ditch. Police later discovered there were two bodies in separate suitcases.

The Town of Geneva Police Department, the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and other law enforcement agencies are assisting with this investigation.

Police continue to assure residents of Geneva that this is an isolated incident and the crime did not occur where the bodies were located.
