Siren, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - Latest news from the Burnett County emergency management says the Danbury area, one of the areas hit hardest by the storm could be without power for three days.
As of 7PM Saturday there are over 5 thousand residents without power.
The American Red Cross will be in Grantsburg and Danbury Wisconsin Sunday to distribute food and water.
Burnett County's population grows from 17,000 to more than 80,000 on the Fourth of July weekend.
Dawn Sargent is the public information officer with Burnett County and asks residents in areas impacted by last night's storms to be careful as crews continue to survey the damage.
"We have closed all of the ATV trails in Burnett County because of the fallen trees. All ramps, boat ramps to the lakes have been closed off. There was an aerial surveillance done this morning so we can get a better idea of the damage and that is how we were able to determine that the northern part of the county was hit the hardest," said Sargent.
