Madison, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Burst pipes in the heating and cooling system have forced the closure of the Wisconsin State Natural Resources building in Madison.
According to DNR officials, numerous floors were flooded with liquid from the heating and cooling system, which could create irritation to skin, eyes and the respiratory system.
All employees were instructed to leave the building and the Natural Resources Board meeting that had been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday was moved to the adjacent State Education Building.
Arrangements are currently being made to find alternative work spaces for employees whose work area was directly affected by the burst pipes.
Wisconsin Department of Administration officials expect the building to return to normal operations Wednesday.
