Crews Extinguish Fire on Wisconsin Point

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com)-- Strong winds contributed to a wild land fire on Wisconsin Point, according to the Superior Fire Department.

Crews responded to an out-of-control camp fire around 10:42 p.m., Saturday. By the time the scene was clear, around 12:21 a.m., close to 3 acres of land burned.

The fire didn’t damage any structures and nobody was hurt. The Superior Fire Department and the Parkland Township Volunteer Department responded to the fire.
