Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Tourism spending in Douglas County saw record growth in 2013.

Tourism officials say 2013 showed a 10 percent increase in visitor spending in Douglas County.
That also represents the highest growth among any of the 72 counties in the state.
Some of that increase is being attributed to more international visitors, and some they say is related to regional economic growth.

"What's really nice about this increase too is that there's not a silver bullet. There's not one reason why we saw this increase. There are multitudes of things" said CEO of Superior-Douglas County Visitors Bureau, David Minor.

Visitor spending in Douglas County was nearly 90 million dollars in 2013.
