Washburn County, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) -- A 24 year old man is dead and a six year old girl is injured following a snowmobile accident in Washburn County.
According to the Washburn County Sheriff's office the accident happened Sunday afternoon when the driver apparently failed to negotiate a corner.
The snowmobile then struck a barbed wire fence and several trees.
The driver, 24 year old Ryan Anderson of Sarona Wisconsin was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.
The six year old passenger is reportedly in stable condition at the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
