Lake Nebagamon, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - A lightning strike may have set a Lake Nebagamon home on fire Tuesday.

Firefighters responded to a call Tuesday before 4 p.m. when a family of six returned home to find their house engulfed in flames.

It took firefighters three hours and 20 trucks of water to put it out.

All six family members were out of the house when the fire started.
They weren't hurt.

But, they lost their home and belongings.

"They had a dog, we got the dog, (it was) a little burnt. It survived. We do have a missing cat. We're still looking for it," said Chief Jim Dawson with the Lake Nebagamon Fire Deptartment

No word on damage estimates at this point.
