Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - U.S. Senate Candidate, Mark Neumann, was in Superior today as part of his final push for gaining Wisconsinite's votes.
Neumann represented Wisconsin's first Congressional District from 1995 to 1999, before losing a bid to become the Republican nominee for state Governor, in 2010.
Having visited Superior twice in less than a week, Neumann says it's critical for any Republican candidate to show that they're ready to work with traditionally Democratic counties.
"We want to physically be here to tell them, in person, that we believe this part of the state is very important. I look forward to working with the people here on job creation, economic growth and development, and everything we can do to make Wisconsin stronger and better," said Neumann.
Nuemann is looking to succeed current U.S. Senator, Herb Kohl, who is retiring.
