Judge Scraps Walker's Collective Bargaining Law

-- A Dane County judge has overturned Governor Scott Walker's budget provision limiting union rights for public employees.

Walker proposed the budget plan shortly after taking office in February of last year, which led to weeks of protests in Madison.

The collective bargaining decision also triggered Governor Walkers recall effort, which failed this summer.

In response, Governor Walkers responded saying he is confident the state will ultimately prevail in the appeals process.
