Iron County, Wis. (NNCNOW.com) -- A new judge has been assigned to a case involving eight concerned citizens suing the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Taylor County Circuit Court Judge Ann Knox-Bauer will now hear the case.

The case was supposed to be heard in Iron County Court on Monday, May 12, however that was postponed due to the appointment.

A new date has not yet been set.

The lawsuit is over Gogebic Taconite's bulk sampling activities.

The group believes the DNR did not follow the law when they waived the storm water permitting process for Gogebic Taconite's bulk sampling process.
