Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - Authorities have released the name of the man who died following an industrial accident in Superior.

30 year old David M. Clink of Superior was found dead at the White Cedar Shingles and Lumber Company along Winter Street on Tuesday.

An initial investigation revealed that Clink's arm and/or clothing was caught in a conveyor belt system and was unresponsive when he was found. It appeared the victim was pinned against the machinery which resulted in him being asphyxiated.

Authorities believe Clink was working alone at the business at the time of the accident. He was found by a co-worker who called 911.

OSHA has been notified of the incident and is conducting an investigation into the accident.
