Minneapolis, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- Minnesota will host another royal couple, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden.
According to Kare 11, the royal couple is planning a two-day visit to Minnesota in October.
They will travel to St.Peter for the 150th anniversary of Gustavus Adolphus College, which was founded by Swedish immigrants.
The King and Queen plan to dedicate the American Swedish Institue's new Nelson Cultural Center in Minneapolis which features Nordic arts, music and culture, according to Kare 11.
Kare 11 reports that the King and Queen will start their visit at Gustavus Adolphus College where they will take part in a chapel service on Friday, October 5.
Kare 11 says that a limited number of tickets will be available for the chapel service and details in regards to the tickets will be announced in May.
The royal visit comes almost 12 months after Norway's King Harald and Queen Sophia visited Duluth and re-dedicated the Enger Tower.
