Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A driver and passenger of a motorcycle were transported the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an accident Sunday evening.
The accident happened about 6 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 at U.S. 53 in Douglas County near Superior.
Authorities from the Wisconsin State Patrol were called to the scene and continue to investigate the accident.
A 2012 Harley Davidson Motorcycle traveling eastbound on U.S. 2 crashed when the driver of the motorcycle attempted to avoid a vehicle changing lanes in front of him.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.
