Ashland, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Angelina Mae Omara was charged with 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide, a felony.

Omara was arrested in November after she allegedly shot and killed her boyfriend, 36 year old Michael Pies, inside an Ashland motel room . He had been shot in the head.

Both Pies and Omara were found with pillows covering what appeared to be gunshot wounds to their heads.

Angelina Mae Omara was arrested in South Dakota following the incidents.

She has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of her ex-husband in Sauk Rapids.
