Philadelphia (Northlands NewsCenter) - Thanks to a surprising running game, combined with a bend-but don't break- defense, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 21-16 in the NFC Wild-card playoff.

Tramon Williams intercepted a Michael Vick pass with under a minute to go to secure the victory. Packers running back James Starks ran for 123 yards, the most by a Packer rookie in the post season.

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers earned his first career playoff win, by completing 18 of 27 passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Vick threw for 292 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also ran for only 33 yards, and was sacked three times.

With the win, Green Bay will face the Atlanta Falcons in the Division Playoffs on Saturday in Atlanta.
