Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - It turns out an armed robbery at a gas station in Superior last month was staged.
Superior Police say the 22-year-old clerk and his 20-year-old girlfriend allegedly planned the incident at the Little Store on Tower Avenue on the night of September 27th.
Surveillance video helped police identify the woman who had her face covered, holding a knife.
Statements from both led police to connect the two to the incident.
Police arrested both on conspiracy to commit armed robbery, a felony, which could cost them up to $100 thousand dollars in fines and up to 40 years behind bars.
They'll appear in court on November 7th.
