Washburn County, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) -- Washburn County Sheriff, Terry Dryden, has announced the release of a convicted sex offender, Patrick W. Warren.
Warren will be released from the custody of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections on March 6, 2012.
Warren will be residing on the Lakeside Road in Trego.
According to State law, sex offenders who are released from the custody of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections must return to the community where the offense conviction occured.
Professionals still consider Warren as person who may be at risk to reoffend.
Warren was convicted on September 13, 2004 of Child Enticement in Washburn County.
The conduct committed includes fondling a 13 year old female, physical contact with four different females under the age of 16 in public, touching an adult female's breasts in public, sexual intercourse with a 15 year old female, and the improper touching of both a male and female child ages 5 years old and an infant.
Warren remains under close supervision of local probation agents, including being restricted by GPS monitoring equipment. Warren is also required to follow specific and detailed rules prescribed by Department of Corrections.
Information regarding the release of Warren will be at the Trego Town Hall on March 5, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
