Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- One Superior couple is doing everything on their bucket list. They’ve recently returned from a lifetime adventure, sailing 2,000 thousand miles in 15 days.
Thomas and Barbara Agerter, both 54-years-old, sailed on their 30-foot sailboat called the Weatherly from California to Hawaii.
The voyage was part of the 2012 Pacific Cup in July.
Tom is a seasoned sailor and has sailed each of the Great Lakes single-handedly.
Last year, the couple successfully climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa.
They’ve also hiked the entire 275-mile Superior Hiking Trail.
