Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - The Superior Police Department is investigating a drive by shooting early Monday morning involving an unoccupied vehicle that was struck by bullets. Superior police responded to a call of gunshots in the area of Harrison St. and Baxter Ave. just before 3:00 a.m. Monday. They found a parked vehicle damaged by bullet holes. The driver's side had visible gunshot holes down the side of the vehicle and the driver's side window was shot out. The owner of the damaged vehicle has not yet been identified. Witnesses say they saw a car go back and forth down Harrison Street multiple times, before firing at the parked car at least six times. "I just bolted into the house and started running through making sure everybody's still intact because you don't know where it was, like it just sounded like each shot got closer and closer to the house," said Erin Weerts, who lives in the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Superior Police Department. Posted to the web by Raeanna Marnati rmarnati@kbjr.com
