Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- The man accused of a double homicide in Iron River Wisconsin earlier this month is no longer in an induced coma.

The Bayfield County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that 44-year-old Jim Crain remains in the I-C-U at St Lukes Hospital in Duluth under heavy guard.

Crain allegedly murdered his parents, Jim and Eunice Crain, in their home in Iron River on December 8.

He is facing two counts of first degree intentional homicide.

Chief Deputy Dan Clark with the Bayfield County Sheriff's Office says once Crain is discharged his next stop will be an appearance in Bayfield County Court.
