Suspect sought in Siren Wisconsin gas station robbery

Siren, WI (NNCNOW.com) - Authorities are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at the south Holiday gas station in Siren, Wisconsin.

The Burnett and Polk County Sheriff Departments responded to an armed robbery just after 1:00 a.m. Friday June 27 where a suspect robbed the clerk at gunpoint.

Authorities say the suspect was armed with a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

He fled the scene. Police aren't saying how much money was taken.
The Sheriff's department describes the suspect as a white man, around 30-years-old, wearing a hooded green sweat jacket, blue baseball cap with sunglasses on the top, between 5'8" and 6'0" tall with a goatee.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Burnett County Sheriff's Department or the Siren Police Department.
