Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com)-- With less than twenty days until automatic tax hikes and entitlement cuts kick in, one Wisconsin group is urging their congressman to avoid the fiscal cliff.

Activists are calling on Congressman Sean Duffy to support ending tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.

Federal lawmakers are moving slowly on negotiations to arrive at a budget deal to avert the deficit reduction mechanism.

The two sides are attempting to balance tax and spending cuts, but The Action in Superior group wants the top two percent of Americans to pay up.

"It's time for the wealthiest two percent , we are talking about millionaires and billionaires to pay their fair percentage of taxes."

Congressman Duffy's staff in Superior did not give a response.
