Geneva, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- A highway worker was cutting grass when he stumbled upon two suitcases in the ditch. Police later discovered there were two bodies in separate suitcases.

The worker was cutting grass Thursday afternoon along N. Como Rd. in Geneva, WI. Police say the highway worker/s moved the suitcases to the side of the road to allow the grass to be cut.

Then around 3 p.m. a concerned citizen called the Geneva Police Department complaining about the two suitcases sitting alongside the road, and that's when they discovered the bodies.

Police assure residents of Geneva that this is an isolated incident and the crime did not occur where the bodies were located.

Friday the Waukesha Medical Examiner's Office will conduct autopsies on the bodies; police hope this will help to identify who these people were.

The Geneva Police Department is going through missing person's reports. The investigation continues.
