Madison, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - This petition drive, however, hopes to reverse a Dane County Circuit Court judge's decision to strike down the Governor's law, limiting union rights for most public employees.

Walker proposed the budget plan shortly after taking office in February of last year, which led to weeks of protests in Madison.

The collective bargaining decision also triggered the effort to re–call Governor Walker, which failed this summer.

According to Walker campaign communications director Tom Evenson, "We are asking Wisconsinites to sign this petition in support of Governor Walker and his reforms that have already saved taxpayers over $1 billion and counting."
