Drummond, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Following several water pipe freeze–ups over the past few days, people living in the Drummond Wisconsin Sanitary District are being advised to run a facucet continuously.
Jim Crandall, treasurer of the Sanitary District says's it's best to run a pencil–sized stream until further notice.
Adjustments will be made to the bills of those who do run water.
"It's likely people will be charged for the amount of water they used last year, at this time," Crandall said.
Crandall expects people will need to run their faucets until March, or until the ground thaws.
