Washburn, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - The storm system moving across the Northland his hitting Washburn, Wisconsin.

Jamey Penny-Ritter snapped this photo early Tuesday afternoon on the Coal dock. She says Fishermen were out there despite the weather. Some were parking close to the edge and getting sprayed by the waves crashing against the dock.

Penny-Ritter says the power at the Big Top Chautauqua office building was flickering on and off during the day.

Sustained winds in the area are 25 mph with gusts to 35mph.

As of 4:30 Tuesday afternoon, there were reports of a power outage on Madeline Island.
