Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A bitterly cold wind blasted the folks brave enough to turn out for a vintage snowmobile run in Mahtowa Saturday morning.

Those who did make the scene, though, made the most of the deep snow to buzz around on pre–1980 snow machines near TJ's Store.

James Richards of Barnum brought along his 1965 Polaris Mustang.

Despite the chill, the old sled fired right up and Richards says no amount of cold would have kept him away.

"Oh yeah! Oh, yes! I wouldn't miss it for the world," laughed a frozen-bearded Richards.

Along with the vintage sled run, TJ's also held a beard and moustache contest.
