August 23, 2013 Updated Aug 23, 2013 at 10:03 AM CST

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A No Water Contact advisory has been removed for two Northland beaches after fecal bacteria returned to an acceptable level.

The following beaches have been removed from the beach advisory list:
- Burlington Bay Beach located in Two Harbors

- Minnesota Point Harborside / 15th Street Beach located on the harbor-side of Park Point in Duluth at 15th Street.

Health officials say the water tested at both beaches found that bacteria levels and averages have returned to acceptable levels.

If you become sick after coming in contact with water at a Minnesota beach, you are asked to call the Minnesota Health Department.
