Beach Advisory Issued for Duluth Beach

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Department of Health has issued a no-water contact advisory for a Duluth Beach.

The Lakewalk Beach, located below Lake Place Park in Canal Park was tested on Tuesday and elevated E.coli bacteria levels were found.

The levels indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination.

Lakewalk Beach is expected to be resampled again on Tuesday.

The health department is asking anyone that becomes ill after contact with the beach water to contact the Minnesota Department of Health.
