Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The MN Health Department is still asking beach goers to stay out of the water at the main beach in Duluth.
Due to elevated levels of E. coli bacteria, water contact is not recommended at the Beach House which is located on the lakeside of Park Point in Duluth, at the end of Minnesota Avenue.
This advisory is in place due to possible fecal contamination at the beaches.
The water at the Beach House will be re-sampled and tested for E. coli bacteria again on Monday, August 20th.
The beach advisory that was in place for the Agate Bay Beach in Two Harbors has been lifted.
If you become sick after coming into contact with the water at the Beach House, please contact the Minnesota Health Department.
