The floods in the Northland have set a record for the Saint Louis River.
As of four this afternoon, the Saint Louis River at Scanlon reached 15.89 feet, beating the old record of 15.8 feet in 1950.
The river is expected to continue to rise, possibly cresting at 16 feet.
The river will hit flood stage at ten point five feet.
