Ely, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- From the Golden Globes to the Oscars, movies are given prestigious awards for being the best. But a new award from the International Wolf Center may not be as sought after.

The first ever Scat Award is a new prize that will be given to movies, advertisements and other promotional media for displaying misinformation on wolf behavior. And this year's nomination goes to...

'The Grey" by Joe Carnahan, starring Liam Neeson.

In a review written by International Wolf Center Board Chair, Nancy Jo Tubbs:

"The Grey is a monster movie-dark, depressing, and as accurate a portrayal of wolf behavior as King Kong was about gorillas."
