Lake Superior Beach Advisory Alert

Swimming is still not advised at the Grand Marais Downtown Beach, Schroeder Town Park Beach, Hearding Island Canal Beach, and the Boy Scout Landing Beach.

Elevated E. coli bacteria levels were detected from samples taken from Lake Superior.

The Grand Marais Downtown Beach and the Schroeder Town park Beach are being re-sampled today. The Hearding Island Canal Beach and the Boy Scout Landing Beach were re-sampled yesterday.
