Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- An influx of little skiers took to the trails at Snowflake's Nordic Ski Center in Duluth Tuesday.

It's all part of the 8th Annual Holiday Cross Country Ski Camp put on by Marshall High School.

The three day camp attracted about 70 kids age's five to twelve this year...some putting on ski's for the very first time.

"It's just awesome to see them get up the hill for the first time or like succeed for the first time, I don't know it's really cool," said Lee Weintraub, Nordic Ski Captain at Marshall School.

The camp is a way to get kids in the community out to enjoy winter sports, while meeting other kids, and bonding with Marshall Students.

Snowflake Nordic Ski Center is located off Rice Lake Road in Duluth...daily and season passes are for sale at the chalet or online.
