Storms Leave Thousands Without Power In WI

Wisconsin (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Overnight storms have left thousands without power in Wisconsin.

More than 65,000 customers are without power, as many as 40,000 in Fox County alone.

Severe thunderstorms moved through west central and east central Wisconsin last night, knocking down power lines and trees in several counties.

Winds of 60-80 mph were reported throughout the state.

The following counties are affected: Adams, Brown, Calumet, Kewaunee, La Crosse, Manitowoc, Outagamie, Trempealeau, Vernon, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago.
