Politicians Take on Superbowl

We're always turning to our city and state leaders for their advice on how to run the country and their predictions on who can do it best... but we took a step back to hear their predictions for the Superbowl.

Representative Tom Anzelc lays down his bet for New England. Senator Tom Saxhaug is on Eli Manning's side. No doubt, the game will be an unpredictable one.

Governor Pawlenty elaborates, "The lucky bounces, the lucky breaks. I hate to say it, but the New England Patriots look like they're in the driver's seat."

Others like Senator Klobuchar chose not to place their bets, "The Super Bowl? No, I'm not going to make that prediction."

Then, we've got Senator Coleman who still is rooting for his childhood heroes. He says he was raised a New York Giant's boy, "and for your older listeners, and the older games, those roots will come out."

Representative Tom Rukavina may not be forecasting the game, but he's sticking to his roots, "I don't want to predict that one, the coach of the Patriots is Croation, so I'm going to have to support them."

Meanwhile, Senator Tom Saxhaug has some ideas of his own, "Somebody said we ought to just give New England the trophy and have a three hour Tom Petty concert."

Governor Pawlenty says we should all, "Get ready for some football!"

This game is one contest that voters and campaigning can't influence.
